Patterns with Kinder!

We reviewed patterns today in kindergarten. I gave each kid two stamps on their hand... a triangle, square, or circle in blue, red or yellow. I split them into groups and each group had to come up with a pattern using their hands. They could make patterns using colors (blue, yellow, blue, yellow) or shapes (square, circle, square, circle) or both! So much fun!

Birthday Cupcakes in Kindergarten!

We used everything we've learned this year to put together these fantastic cupcakes! the bottom of the cupcake was a square.. a GEOMETRIC shape! the top of the cupcake was shaped like a cloud.. an ORGANIC shape! We used straight thick lines for our candles. Guess what three colors each class used? PRIMARY COLORS! Great results, Kindergarten!!
