Halloween!
For Halloween this year the kids were able to dress up as their favorite book characters. Fabulous costumes!
We had Thing 1 and 2...
Mary Poppins and Peter Pan...
Huck Finn showed up...
Dorthy and Toto too!
Cat in the Hat!
Here's Old Mother Hubbard...
Tinkerbell...
And the Grouchy Lady Bug and The Moose from "If you give a Moose a Muffin"
3rd Fall Leaves
Just a few of the 3rd Grade finished Fall Leaves Projects. This was a quick and simple piece... Sharpie-drawn twigs layered with tissue paper and fancy brown paper that reminded us of fall.
What's Cookin'?
Kindergarten learned about primary colors (red, blue, yellow) lines (straight, curvy, zig-zag) and Shapes (circle, rectangle) in this scrumptious project. We started with the plate and added parts of the hamburger one by one. Delicious!
1st Grade Mixed Media Cars on Roads
For this project, we used lines, shapes, colors and patterns to complete our cars and roads. We used stamps for the background and shapes for the cars. Nice work 1st grade!
Happy Fall Everybody!
With some extra time in art class, the 5th, 3rd, 1st graders and kindergartners helped make this awesome fall display. Each class had a different task and section of the project. I was so impressed with the focus and hard work these kids put into this display!
